DSTU (ДСТУ — Derzhavnyi Standart Ukrainy) are Ukrainian national standards that establish requirements for food products, raw materials, testing methods, packaging, labeling, transportation, and storage. This page provides a complete overview of all DSTU food industry standards available on this site.
What is DSTU?
DSTU standards are developed by the Ukrainian national standardization body and serve the same function as GOST standards did in the Soviet era — they define mandatory quality, safety, and labeling requirements for food products manufactured and sold in Ukraine. Many DSTU standards were developed as national adaptations of earlier GOST documents, updated to reflect modern European harmonization requirements.
