Gelagar CT 1.2 is a high-performance agar with enhanced gel strength, manufactured by the Italian company B&V. To achieve maximum gel strength, extended boiling time is required during preparation. In accordance with EU Directive No. 231/2012 dated 09.03.2012, agar is assigned the number E406 in the list of permitted food additives.
